Head of Business

Role Summary:

The Head of Business at Safepay will drive the company's revenue growth, strategic partnerships and market expansion. This role demands a results-driven leader who can translate vision into measurable outcomes, strengthen commercial performance and build enduring business relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Strategy & Growth

  1. Formulate and execute business strategies aligned with company objectives.
  2. Identify new market opportunities and lead expansion into emerging segments.
  3. Develop pricing, partnerships and sales models to maximize profitability.

Revenue & Performance Management

  1. Set and achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  2. Oversee key business units to ensure profitability and operational efficiency.
  3. Track business performance through metrics, analytics and forecasting tools.

Partnerships & Alliances

  1. Build strategic relationships with banks, fintechs, vendors, and regulators.
  2. Negotiate and close commercial deals that create long-term value.
  3. Represent the company at industry forums and external engagements.

Team Leadership

  1. Lead and mentor sales, partnerships and business development teams.
  2. Foster a performance-driven culture with clear KPIs and accountability.
  3. Promote cross-functional collaboration between operations, finance and product.

Market Intelligence & Innovation

  1. Monitor market trends, competitor moves and customer insights.
  2. Drive innovation in product offerings and go-to-market strategies.
  3. Recommend investments or partnerships to sustain competitive advantage.

Must haves:

  1. Master's or bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  2. 8+ years of progressive experience in business leadership preferably in fintech, banking or digital services.
  3. Proven record of achieving revenue growth and strategic expansion.
  4. Strong understanding of financial models, market dynamics and regulatory landscapes.
  5. Exceptional negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  6. Strategic and analytical thinking
  7. Relationship management and execution excellence
