We are looking for a highly skilled Magento Architect to design, develop, and oversee complex eCommerce solutions on the Magento/Adobe Commerce platform. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in system architecture, integrations, and performance optimization, along with leadership skills to guide development teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance Magento/Adobe Commerce solutions.
  • Define architecture, technical standards, and coding best practices.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Oversee integrations with third-party applications (ERP, CRM, payment gateways, etc.).
  • Lead and mentor Magento developers, ensuring quality and adherence to project timelines.
  • Conduct code reviews, performance audits, and ensure system security compliance.
  • Stay updated with Magento updates, extensions, and industry best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 7–10+ years of Magento/Adobe Commerce experience (including Magento 2).
  • Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with Magento module and theme development.
  • Experience in system architecture design, cloud hosting (AWS/Azure), and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with headless commerce, PWA, and microservices architecture.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Magento/Adobe Commerce certification (Solution Architect, Professional Developer).
  • Experience with Docker/Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
  • Knowledge of SEO, performance optimization, and caching strategies (Varnish, Redis, etc.).
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
