To strengthen our governance and compliance framework, we are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Internal Audit (HOD Audit) to lead our Audit Department.

Job Description:

The Head of Internal Audit will be responsible for leading the internal audit function and ensuring effective risk management, control, and governance processes across the organization. This role requires strong leadership, financial expertise, and the ability to collaborate with senior management to enhance business performance and minimize risk exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the internal audit department, supervising audit teams across 100+ branches.
  • Plan, design, and implement risk-based internal audits and special assignments.
  • Ensure compliance with internal company policies, financial regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Review and evaluate the effectiveness of internal control systems and recommend process improvements.
  • Present clear and comprehensive audit findings and risk reports to senior management and the Chief Executive Officer.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen internal processes and mitigate risks.
  • Develop, train, and mentor audit staff, ensuring departmental KPIs and objectives are achieved.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during statutory and annual audits.
  • Maintain awareness of evolving laws, regulations, and internal audit best practices to ensure compliance and alignment with industry standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum Education: Master's degree preferred. Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required.
  • Minimum Experience: 3 years of relevant internal audit experience, with proven expertise in a leadership role.
  • Industry: Electronics, Retail, or Consumer Goods experience will be preferred.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of financial and management accounting principles.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting abilities.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP and SAP systems.
  • Strong command over financial risk management, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Ability to lead and mentor audit teams effectively.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to engage with senior leadership.
