Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Administrator to take ownership of our company's IT infrastructure, security, and end-user support. The IT Admin will manage company laptops, endpoints, networking, firewalls, and software deployment. They will ensure all employees work securely and efficiently, supporting both office-based and remote staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy and maintain company laptops with genuine Windows OS images and pre-approved software.

  • Provide end-user support for desktops, laptops, printers, AV equipment, and mobile devices.

  • Install and manage antivirus, endpoint protection, and monitoring software.

  • Enforce non-admin rights on laptops to prevent unauthorized installs.

  • Configure and maintain office firewall, VPN, switches, and Wi-Fi networks.

  • Implement IT asset management and lifecycle tracking for all hardware and software.

  • Support Microsoft 365 applications, including email, Teams, and OneDrive.

  • Manage Active Directory accounts, security groups, and access rights.

  • Assist with hardware rollouts, upgrades, and remote troubleshooting.

  • Contribute to Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes.

  • Prepare reports for management on IT system health, risks, and security compliance.

What You'll Bring

  • Solid experience in desktop and end-user support, ideally in a multi-site or enterprise environment.

  • Strong working knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and common business applications.

  • Proven experience supporting hardware, desktops, laptops, printers, and AV equipment.

  • Familiarity with IT asset management and lifecycle tracking.

  • Experience using ITSM platforms and remote support tools.

  • Understanding of Active Directory and basic networking fundamentals.

  • Bonus: experience with hardware rollouts and upgrades across multiple sites.

Experience

  • Proven track record of providing 2nd line IT support.

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Windows deployments.

  • Knowledge of Active Directory and endpoint management tools.

  • Experience with laptop and mobile hardware troubleshooting.

  • Familiarity with Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Relevant technical certifications are desirable (e.g. ITIL v4).
