The Role:

We are seeking a Senior Technical Consultant for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central & NAV to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong hands-on technical background in Business Central (and Dynamics NAV), with proven expertise in custom app development, integrations, upgrades, and troubleshooting issues. You will collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable ERP solutions that support our clients' business requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy extensions, and integrations in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central/Dynamics NAV using AL/CAL.
  • Design, develop, test and maintain Business Central Apps for Microsoft AppSource.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical designs and solutions.
  • Develop and maintain APIs, web services, and integrations with third-party applications (using OData, SOAP, REST, Azure Functions, etc.).
  • Manage upgrades, migrations, and system performance optimization for Business Central environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical and performance issues efficiently.
  • Maintain code quality, version control, and CI/CD processes using Git and Azure DevOps.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides and deployment procedures.
  • Provide technical support during UAT, go-live, and post-implementation phases.
  • Stay up to date with Microsoft's latest features, tools, and roadmap for Dynamics 365 Business Central

Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Dynamics 365 Business Central and/or Dynamics NAV development.
  • Strong proficiency in AL, C/AL, and C/SIDE development environments.
  • Deep understanding of Business Central architecture, Functional modules and best practices.
  • Proven experience with API and web service integrations (OData, SOAP, REST).
  • Experience performing NAV-to-BC upgrades and handling data migration.
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps, source control, and automated build/release pipelines.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with AppSource submission and validation processes.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server, SSRS Reports, and Power BI integration.
  • MB-800 or MB-820 certification.
  • Understanding of Power Platform integrations (Power Apps, Power Automate) would be a plus.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and English communication skills.
