Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Night Shift Dispatcher. The role involves managing incoming and outgoing calls, scheduling and dispatching drivers, monitoring routes, and addressing customer inquiries or concerns. The dispatcher will also be responsible for coordinating with drivers to ensure timely and efficient service delivery while maintaining accurate records and documentation of all activities.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and customer service skills for interacting effectively with clients and drivers
  • Proficiency in planning, scheduling, and problem-solving for route optimization and efficient dispatching
  • Familiarity with dispatch software, record-keeping, and basic computer skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks during a high-paced night shift
  • Previous experience in dispatch, transportation, or logistics is a plus
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with additional certifications in logistics or dispatching considered beneficial
