Role Overview:

We are looking for a friendly, organized, and professional Front Desk Support / Patient Support Specialist to be the welcoming face of our pulmonology practice. You will ensure patients receive a smooth and supportive experience, from the moment they call to the moment they leave the clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients over the phone with warmth and professionalism
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, manage follow-ups, and update patient records
  • Coordinate with physicians, clinical, and billing teams for seamless patient care
  • Handle inquiries, forms, and documentation efficiently
  • Help patients with appointments, billing, and insurance questions
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times

Qualifications:

  • Strong spoken and written English communication skills (required)
  • Prior experience in front desk, medical office, or customer service roles (healthcare preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with EHR systems, scheduling platforms, or Microsoft Office tools is a plus
  • A caring attitude and ability to handle patient interactions with empathy and professionalism
