Education:
B.Tech / B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering or other relevant qualification

Experience:
12 – 14 Years of relevant experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of sugar mill machinery and equipment (mills, shredder, cutters, etc.).
  • Ensure timely execution of design projects in line with customer specifications and industry standards.
  • Optimize design processes using CAD tools like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Inventor.
  • Collaborate with Production and QA teams during fabrication and resolve any on-floor design challenges.
  • Participate in site visits for erection, commissioning, and technical support at sugar mill locations.
  • Improve design quality through process reviews, defect analysis, and team training.
  • Maintain proper documentation through PDM and ERP systems.

Required Skills:

  • Expertise in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Autodesk Inventor
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Visio, Project)
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
