We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and safety standards are met, and managing staff effectively. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, dishwashers, and other kitchen personnel.
- Ensure that all food is prepared according to the restaurant's recipes, quality standards, and food safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment, including proper sanitation and hygiene practices.
- Monitor food stock levels and order supplies as needed, ensuring ingredients are fresh and available.
- Train, motivate, and evaluate kitchen staff, providing feedback and ensuring high-performance standards.
- Manage kitchen operations during peak hours to ensure timely and quality food delivery.
- Maintain proper storage of food and ingredients to prevent spoilage and waste.
- Work with the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager to develop menus, recipes, and pricing strategies.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is functioning properly and report any issues for repair.
- Handle customer complaints related to food quality and ensure issues are resolved promptly.
