Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager Corporate Sales who will support the Corporate Sales Manager in developing and executing business development initiatives to strengthen our bakery's corporate sales portfolio. The role involves maintaining relationships with corporate clients, assisting in customer service, and supporting the implementation of sales strategies to achieve company goals.
This position is ideal for candidates with solid sales experience in the bakery/food sector who are looking to take the next step in their career and grow into a leadership role.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients.
- Support in handling customer complaints, inquiries, and ensuring timely resolution.
- Coordinate with the Corporate Sales Manager in managing and retaining the assigned customer portfolio.
- Contribute to the preparation and execution of sales strategies to achieve monthly and yearly targets.
- Assist in negotiations with clients under the guidance of the Corporate Sales Manager.
- Prepare and deliver product presentations for prospective and existing corporate clients.
- Conduct follow-ups on sales calls to improve customer retention and explore new business opportunities.
- Gather necessary information for credit assessments and customer profiling.
- Assist in market research and competitor analysis to identify potential business opportunities.
- Maintain proper sales records and prepare periodic reports for review by management.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in field sales, preferably in the bakery or food industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
- Strong understanding of bakery product sales and corporate client management.
- Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic sales-related software.
- Proven ability to achieve targets in a competitive environment.
- A customer-focused, responsible, and result-driven individual.
Job Type: Full-time
