Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Karāchi for a Sewing Production General Manager at Umar Garments. The Sewing Production GM will oversee daily production operations, ensuring efficient workflow, quality control, and timely delivery. Responsibilities include managing production schedules, supervising staff, coordinating with different departments, and optimizing production processes. The GM will also be responsible for resolving production issues and implementing cost-saving measures.

Qualifications

  • Experience in knitted garment production factory
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of quality control and process optimization
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in the use of production management software
  • Ability to oversee and handle on-site operations effectively
  • Experience in the apparel industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Production Management, Textile Engineering, or a related field
