Senior Software Engineer (Python / Django / FastAPI)
About the Role

We're looking for a
Senior Software Engineer
who thrives on autonomy, innovation, and craftsmanship. You'll be joining a fast-moving, product-driven team where you'll own complex backend systems end to end — from architecture and implementation to optimization and scaling.

This role is ideal for someone who doesn't wait for direction but instead takes initiative, loves solving hard problems, and delivers high-quality, production-grade code. You'll work primarily with
Python (Django / FastAPI)
and have the freedom to explore
/ TypeScript
where it makes sense. You'll also have access to advanced
AI-assisted development tools
like Claude Code and GitHub Copilot to accelerate delivery and improve quality.

What You'll Do

  • Architect, develop, and maintain
    scalable, high-performance backend systems
    using Python (Django/FastAPI).
  • (Optional) Build and integrate services in
    / TypeScript
    to support multi-stack environments.
  • Take complete ownership of features — from ideation to deployment and continuous improvement.
  • Leverage
    AI-powered development tools
    to automate repetitive tasks, improve efficiency, and write cleaner code.
  • Collaborate with frontend, design, and product teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Continuously
    profile, monitor, and optimize
    system performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews, and the overall technical direction of the team.

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of experience as a
    Backend or Full-Stack Engineer
    .
  • Expert-level proficiency in
    Python
    , with deep experience in
    Django and/or FastAPI
    .
  • (Bonus) Solid knowledge of
    , TypeScript,
    and related ecosystems.
  • Strong foundation in
    RESTful API design, data modeling, caching, and cloud infrastructure
    (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • A
    self-starter
    who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can operate independently.
  • Passionate about
    code quality, performance, and scalability
    .
  • Experienced in using
    AI-assisted coding tools
    to streamline development workflows.
