Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Python, Django, and FastAPI to design, build, and optimize backend systems that power intelligent and scalable applications.

The ideal candidate is a senior-level developer who writes clean, maintainable code, has a strong grasp of software architecture, and is eager to leverage modern AI development tools such as
Claude Code
to accelerate development.

Experience with TypeScript and will be considered a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop robust backend systems using Python, Django, and FastAPI
  • Build and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs
  • Work closely with front-end developers, AI engineers, and product teams to define and implement scalable solutions
  • Optimize system performance and ensure high reliability and security standards
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services where needed
  • Collaborate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and product planning
  • Use AI-assisted tools to streamline development and improve productivity

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience in backend development
  • Strong command of Python, Django, and FastAPI frameworks
  • Solid understanding of databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving attitude

Nice to Have

  • Experience with TypeScript and
  • Familiarity with AI/ML-powered applications or tools
  • Exposure to microservices architecture and event-driven systems
