The Role

This is a senior leadership position for a hands-on, entrepreneurial individual. You will be responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive business development strategy that scales our client base and revenue. You will lead from the front, building and managing a high-performing team while personally engaging with C-level executives and key decision-makers at target clients.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the company's global business development strategy for AI solutions and services, identifying emerging market trends and opportunities.

Revenue Growth: Drive significant revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities with enterprise and mid-market clients.

Partnership Development: Establish and nurture strategic alliances with key partners, including technology vendors, industry associations, and complementary service providers.

Team Management: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing business development team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and results.

Sales Cycle Management: Own and manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to proposal development, negotiation, and closing complex deals.

Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to inform go-to-market strategies and refine our service offerings.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, and technical delivery teams to ensure client needs are met and new solutions are effectively positioned in the market.

Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate sales pipeline forecasts and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to the leadership team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).

10+ years of progressive experience in business development or enterprise sales, with at least 5 years specifically focused on AI, SaaS, or complex IT services.

Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and growing revenue in a high-growth technology environment.

Deep understanding of AI technologies and their practical applications across various industries.

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with senior-level stakeholders.

Strong leadership capabilities with experience building and managing sales or business development teams.

A strategic thinker with a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset.

Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) and sales analytics.
