We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and detail-oriented Manager Accounts to lead and oversee the accounting functions of our organization. As a key member of the accounts and finance team, the individual will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, supervising the accounts team, and providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

Education:
BBA/MBA/M.Com/B.Com/ACCA Qualified or Part-Qualified / CA (Continued or Qualified)

Experience:
5-7 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily financial transactions, ensuring accurate recording and reporting in the accounting system.
  • Supervise and review the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and annual budgets.
  • Monitor and manage the organization's cash flow and banking operations, including regular reconciliation of bank statements.
  • Ensure timely processing and accurate management of accounts payable, receivable, and employee reimbursements.
  • Maintain and oversee the general ledger, including posting of journal entries and month-end/year-end closing activities.
  • Ensure tax compliance by overseeing tax filings, preparing necessary documentation, and staying updated with tax regulations.
  • Coordinate and facilitate internal and external audits, providing complete and accurate financial data.
  • Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis, cost analysis, and forecasting to support management decisions.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.
  • Lead, supervise, and mentor the accounting team, ensuring high performance and professional development.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments to support financial planning and business operations.

Requirements
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with prior experience in supervising accounting staff.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments.
