Sr Exec/Assistant Manager Product Planning

Location: This role is based in Islamabad, Pakistan. (Hybrid)

About the role:

Being part of this team, you will be the key driver in channel strategy through planning and managing key variables of sales & commissioning; in addition to analyzing the implementation of strategy initiatives. This team is the central point of contact for all matters pertaining to Strategy and FC for the S&D organization.

Your Impactful goals will include:

• End to end management of S&D planning for new network investment areas
• Formulating and coordinating the opportunity areas for new network investment and their business cases with regions/circles and pricing.
• Identification and evaluation cross functional projects that lead to better strategy delivery
• Performance tracking for new investment areas and highlighting improvement areas
• Providing regular Management updates and Provide visibility on the upcoming projects and deliveries
• In depth analysis of current performance on different channels with respect to GSM/FS and benchmarking strategic project deliveries
• Identify new areas for improvement and operational efficiency under product domain
• Identifying FS GSM business synergies and formulating projects to improve efficiency.

Your typical day at work

• As S&D owner of network investment, responsible for all business plans for new network investments and commitment of business delivery.
• Engaging in different cross functional discussions to identify areas for operational efficiencies
• Close coordination with FS & GSM product planning teams, distribution and operations, circle and regional teams to identify projects bringing synergies in different products
• Active communication with internal functions to prepare monthly closing forecasts and raise early red flags.
• Preparation of data for strategic meetings based on analytics and progress of strategic projects
• Providing business performance insights to stakeholders which help them to take better business decisions.
• Keep pulse on market intel regarding competitions' initiatives
• Foreseeing the challenges and its impact on business and suggesting ways to overcome these challenges

What we are looking for?

Education: Masters/bachelor in Business Administration or related fields

Work experience: Extensive experience in roles with Channel/product Planning, preferably in a channel planning role in telecom or FMCG sector.

Potential Career Path:

• Different plannings roles like distribution planning, business planning etc within S&D planning domain
• Roles in circle segments and planning team

Functional Areas/Knowledge Areas:

• Demonstrated ability to take initiatives and ensure thorough execution of plans through internal & external stakeholders
• Strong communication & negotiation skills
• Strong understanding of Telco products and sales
• Analytical skills and ability to effectively design analytical models for forecasting
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel , Database tools & PowerPoint
• Understanding of MFS business in Pakistan/Asian markets
