Role Purpose

Talent Onboarding Manager will be responsible for delivering a seamless and engaging onboarding experience for newly hired Talent and serving as a point of contact in their onboarding journey. This role ensures all onboarding processes are up-to-date, aligned with organizational goals, and consistently provides a welcoming and supportive environment for new team members.

This role requires to be in the office majority of the week for planning and facilitation with onboarding related tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Support & Engagement

  • Take full ownership of the new hire onboarding journey of Talent at Edge - from post-selection until start date, ensuring it is effective, efficient, and engaging.
  • Conduct in-office tours and hand over welcome kits to new hires.
  • Document and maintain updated onboarding materials.
  • Act as the primary point of contact (POC) for talent during their onboarding journey.
  • Connect with new hires and provide support as needed to address their issues.
  • Regularly engage with stakeholders to facilitate meetings and address needs of new hires.
  • Sign off on every new hire before their start date - ensuring they are prepared for day one with the right knowledge, the right equipment, and no blockers.

Content & Process Updates

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to update onboarding content, ensuring alignment with changes in processes and policies.
  • Maintain a feedback loop by gathering input from new hires and suggesting strategies for continuous improvement of the onboarding process.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Schedule and conduct regular meetings with key stakeholders to discuss updates, improvements, and challenges in onboarding processes.

Strategic Initiatives

  • Analyze feedback from new hires to identify trends and areas for improvement, contributing to strategies that enhance the new hire journey and overall employee experience.

Event Participation

  • Participate in official company events, taking on delegated tasks to support smooth execution and promote a positive company culture.

OKRs

  • Achieve 100% completion rate of onboarding tasks for all new hires.
  • Attain a 90% satisfaction rate in feedback surveys from new hires regarding their onboarding experience.
  • Ensure 100% of welcome kits are handed over within the first day of joining.
  • Conduct regular stakeholder meetings (minimum 1 per month) to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
  • Implement at least 2 process improvements per quarter based on stakeholder input and feedback.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with updated processes and policies by all stakeholders involved in onboarding.

Note: OKRs are subject to change based on performance reviews and business needs

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in onboarding, HR, or a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and foster relationships with new hires and stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Slack, and other relevant tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver results.
  • A proactive and approachable attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Experience working with global teams and clients.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in HR, onboarding, or employee engagement.
