Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or equivalent will be an added advantage.

Experience with PPRA rules and regulations is mandatory.

Responsibilities:

Job Summary:

The purpose of this position is to assist in ensuring compliance with PPRA Rules & Regulations and SSGCL procurement policies within the procurement department. The role supports the development, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive compliance framework, monitors procurement compliance, promotes ethical practices, and safeguards the integrity of procurement processes.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in conducting compliance assessments to evaluate procurement processes, activities, and documentation for adherence to PPRA rules and SSGCL procurement policies.
  2. Review and analyze procurement records, contracts, and related documents to identify potential compliance risks and issues.
  3. Assist in developing and implementing compliance monitoring mechanisms, including audits and reviews.
  4. Collaborate with procurement teams to address compliance gaps and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.
  5. Monitor compliance metrics and KPIs to report on compliance status.
  6. Assist in training procurement staff on compliance requirements, policies, and procedures.
  7. Keep abreast of changes in PPRA rules, regulations, and SSGCL policies, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
  8. Analyze procurement data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and prepare compliance reports for management and regulatory bodies.
  9. Promote ethical standards and assist in fostering ethical behavior within the procurement department.
  10. Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits and reviews.
  11. Address audit findings, implement corrective actions, and resolve compliance issues timely.
  12. Ensure compliance with the risk management framework and participate in risk management activities.
  13. Identify, report, and manage key risks promptly.
  14. Receive training in risk management.
