
Area Sales Manager

Responsibilities:
- Directly responsible for shops of the respective divisions for functional and administrative responsibilities.
- To improve stock turnover ratios, reduce stock holding value and increase sales to meet sales targets.
- Always be on the lookout for new and related business opportunities to add to the bottom-line as well as enhance the branch's brand image amongst prospective buyers.
- To analyze the training requirement for providing a satisfactory staff development program.
- Customer Handling.
- Managers & sales staff training about customer interaction.
- Dealing, display, product & company knowledge.
- Provide sales targets to managers every month.
- Shop displays.
- Handling stock shuffling & inventory matters.
- Staff evaluation.
- Implement any marketing activity inside the store, e.g., banners, steamer, inside store skins.
- Cash checking and stock counting after 15 days.
- Information about shops covered area.
- Monitoring daily sales.
- Shops demand/renovation/minor repairs.
- Maintain overall discipline in shops.
Knowledge: Knowledge of modern business methods and controls, strong knowledge of current market trends, good knowledge of customer dealings.
Skills: Good communication skills, sales skills, leadership skills, motivational skills, convincing power.
