Mergestack is looking to hire Recruitment Lead:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute technical recruiting strategies to attract and hire top tech engineering (IT), technical, and non-technical talent.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, sourcing, screening, and interviewing.
  • Collaborate with team leads and project managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on job descriptions and interview processes.
  • Coordinate and set up interviews with the hiring team, ensuring smooth scheduling and communication.
  • Utilize various recruitment channels such as job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals to source candidates.
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings and interviews to assess qualifications and cultural fit.
  • Maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for future job openings.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Track and report on recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of hiring strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.
  • Ensure the resume/candidate is pre-vetted.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with universities, coding boot camps, and other educational institutions to source emerging talent.
  • Use and manage our internal applicant tracking system (ATS) to streamline the recruitment process and maintain organized candidate records.
  • Provide training and support to the hiring team on interviewing techniques and best practices.
  • Participate in employer branding initiatives to enhance the company's reputation as an employer of choice.
  • Negotiate job offers and employment terms with candidates to secure top talent.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of 5 years as a recruitment specialist, talent sourcing (Tech & Non-Tech).
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using recruitment software and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Awareness of market competitive salary rates.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
  • Experience in using software for online testing and assessments.
