Mergestack is looking to hire Recruitment Lead:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute technical recruiting strategies to attract and hire top tech engineering (IT), technical, and non-technical talent.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, sourcing, screening, and interviewing.
- Collaborate with team leads and project managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on job descriptions and interview processes.
- Coordinate and set up interviews with the hiring team, ensuring smooth scheduling and communication.
- Utilize various recruitment channels such as job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals to source candidates.
- Conduct initial candidate screenings and interviews to assess qualifications and cultural fit.
- Maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for future job openings.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Track and report on recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of hiring strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Ensure the resume/candidate is pre-vetted.
- Develop and maintain relationships with universities, coding boot camps, and other educational institutions to source emerging talent.
- Use and manage our internal applicant tracking system (ATS) to streamline the recruitment process and maintain organized candidate records.
- Provide training and support to the hiring team on interviewing techniques and best practices.
- Participate in employer branding initiatives to enhance the company's reputation as an employer of choice.
- Negotiate job offers and employment terms with candidates to secure top talent.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience of 5 years as a recruitment specialist, talent sourcing (Tech & Non-Tech).
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in using recruitment software and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Awareness of market competitive salary rates.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
- Experience in using software for online testing and assessments.
