The Opportunity

Eon is seeking a skilled Tableau Developer to join our data analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau to support strategic decision-making. You will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to transform complex data into actionable insights.

In this role you will:
  • Design, develop, and deploy interactive and insightful Tableau dashboards and visualizations.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and BI solutions.
  • Optimize and maintain existing Tableau dashboards to improve performance and usability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand reporting requirements.
  • Implement Tableau Cloud beyond server.
  • Conduct data analysis using SQL or other tools to support dashboard development.
  • Automate and schedule Tableau reports as needed.
  • Maintain documentation related to dashboards, data sources, and definitions.
You will be a good fit if you have:
  • Experience in a healthcare, SaaS, or financial services environment.
  • Familiarity with Python or R for advanced analytics is a plus.
  • Knowledge of cloud data platforms such as AWS Redshift, Snowflake, or Google BigQuery.
  • Understanding of data security and compliance (e.g., HIPAA, SOC2).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Tableau development.
  • Strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
  • Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL).
  • Understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience working with large and complex datasets.
