As a B2B Sales Development Representative (SDR), your primary responsibility is to identify and engage decision-makers at target companies, and schedule qualified meetings with them for our Business Development teams. You'll be the first point of contact in our outbound sales process, playing a key role in building a strong sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify key decision-makers (e.g., CEOs, HR Heads, CFOs, Admin Managers) in target companies across relevant industries.
- Develop and execute personalized outreach strategies via email, LinkedIn, and phone to generate interest.
- Qualify leads through discovery conversations and schedule meetings for the Sales/BD team.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and lead status in the CRM.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and sales to optimize outreach campaigns and messaging.
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly targets for outreach and meetings booked.
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of experience in B2B sales, lead generation, or outbound prospecting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal.
- Strong research skills and a knack for identifying decision-makers within organizations.
- Comfortable with cold outreach and rejection; persistent and self-motivated.
- Familiarity with CRM and contact research tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo, Sales Navigator etc.,) is a plus.
- Prior experience in fintech is preferred but not required.
