Job Summary
Drive sales growth by achieving targets and soliciting new Small and Medium Enterprise customers in line with the Bank's sales strategy. Keep customers informed of products, services, promotions, and cross-sell to expand the SME portfolio. Grow and maintain a potential customer base for business development and ensure adherence to risk and policy standards in managing the existing client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve the agreed sales target as given by the Team Leader.
- Solicit new customers according to the Bank's sales policy, strategy, and targets.
- Ensure strict adherence to Account Opening procedures as per policies and guidelines.
- Promote high-quality customer service and responsiveness to Consumer Banking Customers.
- Visit existing Business Banking Customers to deepen relationships.
- Assess customer needs and problems, guiding them to the best solutions for their queries and concerns.
- Monitor customer fund movements and identify cases falling below criteria levels.
- Follow the sales management process regularly and submit reports to the Branch Manager promptly.
- Coordinate closely with Operations staff to provide prompt, excellent service.
- Maintain high standards of know-your-customer (KYC) requirements supported by documentation.
- Manage the credit portfolio efficiently, ensuring zero expired facilities.
- Maintain the branch premises' hygiene, cleanliness, and comfort.
- Monitor AML reports and respond to suspicious activities daily, weekly, and monthly.
- Ensure timely closure of Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs).
- Follow AML guidelines to ensure compliance and pass audits without issues.
- Raise staff awareness through training and implement policies on Money Laundering Prevention (MLP).
- Properly dispose of exceptions from MLP reports and escalate issues like STR, CDD expiries, and AML queries.
- Provide personalized service to Business Banking Customers.
- Acquire additional business, including relationships, liabilities, and assets, from the target market.
- Achieve business, revenue, and target goals for Business Banking, adhering to global and local standards.
- Generate revenue for the branch banking business.
- Retain and grow the portfolio, ensuring its health and quality.
- Review processes and resources regularly to meet service standards, removing bottlenecks and improving workflows.
- Engage in customer retention efforts, resolving complaints and gathering feedback.
- Coordinate among branch units, Cash Management, Asset Sales, and acquisition teams to provide integrated solutions.
