
Sr Business Development Executive

Job Summary:
The Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, driving growth, and expanding the company's market presence. This role focuses on creating strategic relationships, securing new clients, and fostering existing client relationships to enhance business expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research & Opportunity Identification:
- Conduct research to identify new business opportunities, markets, potential clients, and industry trends.
- Analyze competitors and industry developments to inform strategic planning.
- Lead Generation & Prospecting:
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, emails, referrals, and other outreach methods.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospects and ensure follow-up in a timely manner.
- Sales & Relationship Management:
- Develop and present compelling sales presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales with new clients.
- Develop long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering repeat business.
- Attend meetings with clients to understand their needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
- Strategic Partnerships & Networking:
- Identify and establish strategic partnerships with complementary businesses, vendors, or other key stakeholders.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
- Collaboration & Cross-Functional Work:
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and other internal teams to develop tailored solutions for clients.
- Collaborate with senior management to define business goals and growth strategies.
- Sales Reporting & Tracking:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and business development efforts.
- Prepare regular reports on business development progress, sales forecasts, and market trends.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the company.
- Market Intelligence:
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to offer actionable insights and recommendations.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or related roles.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strategic thinking abilities.
- Strong understanding of the industry and market dynamics.
- Highly motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of experience in a business development or sales role, preferably in a related industry.
Work Environment:
- This role may involve travel to client meetings, industry events, or conferences.
- Ability to work flexible hours based on client needs.
Compensation:
- Salary plus commission or performance-based incentives, depending on the company's compensation structure.
