Job Summary:

This role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer. The Operations and Reporting Officer will play a critical role in supporting the company's merchant acquiring operations. The individual will be responsible for daily reporting to merchants and internal stakeholders, processing merchant account opening forms and maintaining accurate records. This role demands keen attention to detail, efficiency and strong communication skills to ensure seamless operations and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver daily reports to merchants, ensuring accuracy and timely dissemination of financial data.
• Generate and share reports with internal stakeholders, including finance, compliance and senior management.
• Process merchant account opening forms, reviewing documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain merchant records, ensuring data integrity, accuracy and security.
• Assist in reconciliation of transactions, identifying discrepancies and resolving reporting issues.
• Work closely with operations and compliance teams to ensure smooth onboarding and account management processes.
• Provide support in audit and regulatory reporting as required.
• Collaborate with teams to improve reporting automation and streamline operational workflows.
• Handle queries from merchants related to account opening, reporting and operational matters.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the line manager, ensuring flexibility in handling ad-hoc operational and reporting duties.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in operations, reporting or fintech-related roles.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel, reporting tools and databases.
• Ability to manage and process large volumes of data with precision.
• Knowledge of merchant acquiring, fintech and electronic money regulations (preferable).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience in financial reporting and reconciliation.
• Familiarity with SBP guidelines and fintech compliance.
• Proactive, detail-oriented and ability to work in a fast-paced fintech environment.
