What You'll Do As The Billing Coordinator

Employees in this role will apply their independent judgment and demonstrate intellectual abilities in decision-making.   • Process all pertinent individual customer invoices daily with 100% accuracy.
  • Resolve and respond to all rejected invoices promptly.
  • Maintain and reconcile specific accounts to ensure all invoices are billed and will be paid as agreed.
  • Accurately prepare daily, weekly, or monthly spreadsheet billings.
  • Process other forms of billings as needed (paper, electronic, manual).
  • Provide daily support for the entire Department.
  • Manage issues sent to the Credit email boxes, including communication with customers, Credit, and Sales Teams.
  • Encourage customers to switch to electronic billing methods to reduce costs and prevent lost invoices.
  • Research and resolve problems with individual account invoices, understanding systems, requirements, and communicating with customers and Sales.
  • Reconcile and maintain specific customer accounts, including emailing end users and managers, resolving issues, processing credit adjustments, and applying credits and payments.
  • Handle emails related to Tax-Exempt Credits, understand tax regulations per state, modify orders, and follow up with Sales and Tax Manager.
Education/Certification

ACCA/MBA/BBA in Finance & Accounting or related fields.

Required Experience
  • Credit/Collection experience, especially with electronic billing.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and computer skills.
  • Ability to develop positive relationships with customers and departments.
  • Excellent communication skills, including email etiquette.
  • Organizational skills, ability to multitask, think creatively, and pay attention to detail.
  • Accuracy in meeting daily goals.
