Job Role: Clinical Pharmacist Lead

 

As a Clinical Pharmacist Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. Your primary focus will be on providing expert pharmaceutical advice to healthcare professionals and patients alike.

 

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a team environment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure are also essential for success in this role.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement clinical pharmacy services that meet the needs of our patients and staff.
  • Provide education and training to healthcare professionals on appropriate use of medications and best practices in pharmacy practice.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and ensure seamless transitions of care.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

 

PharmD or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.

 

Current licensure as a pharmacist in good standing.

 

Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical pharmacy practice, preferably in a leadership role.

 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

 

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

 

Professional certifications such as BCPS or BCCP are highly desirable but not required.
