Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Professional to oversee the planning, design, and execution of Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) operations for gas transmission pipeline projects.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical knowledge and leadership skills, with a strong ability to coordinate with teams, contractors, and field personnel to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead HDD Crossing Planning and Design: Develop detailed HDD crossing plans, including bore profiles, drilling parameters, equipment selection, and risk assessments, ensuring alignment with project goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop detailed HDD crossing plans, including bore profiles, drilling parameters, equipment selection, and risk assessments, ensuring alignment with project goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct Site Surveys and Geotechnical Investigations: Assess ground conditions, identify potential obstacles or hazards, and inform the design and layout of HDD alignments.
  • Review Contractor Proposals: Evaluate contractor proposals, bids, and technical submissions for HDD equipment, materials, and services, ensuring compliance with project specifications and performance requirements.
  • Coordinate Permitting and Approvals: Coordinate with regulatory agencies, landowners, and related stakeholders to obtain necessary permits, clearances, and approvals for HDD crossing activities, facilitating timely project execution.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Engineering Graduate: Must be an engineering graduate from a recognized university with at least 4 years of experience in HDD operations.
  • PEC Registration: Must have PEC registration.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct cross-functional teams.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
