We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Accounts Executive to join our team at Workman Furniture, Pakistan.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Verifying bills and ensuring accurate item quantity, rate, and bill amount.
  • Inspecting items against GRNs and checking their quality and quantity.
  • Performing product costing to verify vendor rates.
  • Entering bills into ERP systems and obtaining senior approval.
  • Reconciling ledgers and processing payments to vendors in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining store ledger cards to update inventory levels.
  • Liaising with banks for pay orders, bank deposits, and statement reconciliation.
  • Ensuring prompt payment to company vendors within agreed credit periods.
  • Maintaining compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements through proper bookkeeping.
  • Developing and implementing efficient internal controls on business processes.
  • Initiating cost control programs to save costs and monitoring results.
  • Collaborating with the purchasing department to ensure best buying practices without compromising specifications, quality, and time.
  • Negotiating purchase prices and credit terms with suppliers, banks, and financial institutions.
  • Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with vendors, financial institutions, auditors, tax consultants, etc.
  • Maintaining accurate records of each transaction in both hard and soft copies.
