Job Title: Assistant HR Business Partner

 

The role of the Assistant HR Business Partner is to support the delivery of key people priorities by partnering with functional teams.

 

This position plays a vital part in building and maintaining a strong talent pipeline, enabling capability development, and effective execution of core HR processes under the leadership of Senior HR Business Partner.

 

A day in the life of an Assistant HR Business Partner includes:

  1. Assisting in aligning and implementing people strategies that attract, develop, retain, and maximize employee contributions in line with both short- and long-term business objectives.
  2. Supporting the deployment of leadership principles to help build an open, empowering, fair, and inclusive work culture while ensuring smooth execution of organizational development initiatives.
  3. Assisting in identifying effective solutions to business challenges, aligning with company principles, policies, and local context.
  4. Contributing to managing smooth organizational transitions and helping shape a culture that supports strategic goals.
  5. Supporting business teams in executing core people processes such as performance management, salary reviews, job evaluations, and goal alignment.
  6. Contribute to the deployment of talent management practices to support business needs and enable employee development.
  7. Ensuring a compliant and efficient recruitment process that adheres to internal policies and external regulations.
  8. Equipping hiring managers with the necessary tools and capabilities for effective engagement and manage multiple sourcing channels to enhance the talent pipeline.
  9. Overseeing organizational development initiatives for the business unit by coordinating Center of Excellence efforts and ensuring the implementation of people practices against established metrics.
  10. Organizing and delivering training and development programs in collaboration with Center of Excellence to achieve team and individual goals.
  11. Driving engagement initiatives in the assigned business unit / function by fostering a culture where employees feel valued, motivated, and connected to the organization's mission.

 

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management or Organizational Psychology from a recognized institution.
  • 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in talent management, organizational development, learning or business partnership.
  • Ability to be proactive, adaptable, and quickly respond to changing market demands.
  • Ability to engage with internal employees by highlighting the company's values, culture, career growth opportunities, and employee benefits during career conversations.
  • Working exposure in matrix structured organizations with multiple divisions and/or business groups/categories.
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with line managers, HR teams, and other internal/external stakeholders.
