We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Coordinator to join our team. As an IT Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for project activities of IT infrastructure projects by ensuring the project completion is within the agreed scope, time and budget.

About the Role

The IT Project Coordinator will be assigned to work using a waterfall and agile methodologies for projects in a matrix-based environment. You will own the delivery of projects or assigned parts from initiation till closure by maintaining a strong relationship with external clients.

This position will play a key role in the contribution to the growth of the organization and will work in collaboration with our globally distributed teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data quality in JIRA by reviewing updates in the tool, follow up with project team members on the data and provide support where required.
  • JIRA Data Entries: Perform JIRA data entries and updates.
  • Executive Reports: Create executive management reports based on the content provided.
  • Project Audits: Conduct project audits regarding the project documentation deliverables and quality as directed by the PMO guidelines and standards.
  • Documentation Management: Review, maintain and update project documentation repositories, as and when required.
  • Project Lifecycle Management: Manage entire lifecycle of small projects from post-contract signature to post-implementation, including scope, schedule, resources, quality, costs, and change control, working in a matrix-based organization with the engineering / product delivery teams.
  • Project Planning: Plan and coordinate project activities.
  • Team Collaboration: Interact with various teams to coordinate project activities (including customer project team members)
  • Project Tracking: Track project activities to ensure on-time completion.
  • Document Control: Works with project managers in project tracking and document control activities.
  • Project Scheduling: Monitors project schedules regularly to determine any delays or deviations.
  • Status Updates: Prepare status updates (project dashboard and status reports) and lead project reviews.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with project team on project staffing and task allocation, standardization, and process improvements.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience of IT project management cycle including digital transformation teams in an agile and waterfall environment.
  • Working knowledge using JIRA, Power BI or similar tools.
Skills
  • Excellent customer service acumen in managing customer expectations.

  • Power BI expertise is desirable.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments concurrently.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication as well as presentation skills.
