Finance Instructor Position

We are seeking an experienced and qualified individual to fill a finance instructor position at our institution.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching finance-related courses, conducting research, and contributing to the academic community through scholarship and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Teach finance-related courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, utilizing effective pedagogical methods to engage students.
  2. Conduct research in finance and publish scholarly articles in reputable journals, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the field.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and stakeholders to enhance learning opportunities and promote institutional growth.
  4. Participate in departmental and university-wide committees and initiatives, fostering collaboration and advancing the mission of the institution.
  5. Engage in service activities, such as mentoring students and peer reviewing, to support student success and faculty development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Finance or a related field, with a strong background in financial theory and practice.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in teaching and/or research, with a proven track record of excellence in both areas.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of students, faculty, and staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply theoretical concepts to real-world problems.
