Job Summary

The Assistant Manager Administration is responsible for assisting the Head Administration in managing the administrative team, operational/maintenance personnel, and security staff.

The role involves providing assistance to the Head for smooth operations, dealing with office administrative matters, and knowledge of government departments such as police and labor department.

The Assistant Manager will manage security issues, monitor janitorial staff, check electrical appliances/equipment, maintain company vehicles, and supervise carpentry and civil works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Head Administration in managing administrative team, operational/maintenance personnel, and security staff.
  • Provide assistance to the Head for smooth operations.
  • Deal with office administrative matters including general purchases, company assets maintenance, and daily routine tasks/security issues.
  • Manage security issues and team closely with full responsibility.
  • Monitor janitorial staff, conducting rounds in the factory from time to time for cleaning and worker discipline.
  • Check and resolve electrical appliances/equipment faults or cleaning issues with maintenance staff.
  • Maintain service and repair all company vehicles in coordination with drivers in charge.
  • Maintain the company assets list and ensure upkeep maintenance/repair of all.
  • Supervise and look after carpentry and civil works after approving the projects.
  • Attend to workers' complaints regarding transportation and resolve them within policy.
Requirements

  • Strong personality needed, with good interpersonal skills.
  • Must have experience in a similar role in a factory.
  • Ability to manage and motivate team members.
  • Effective report writing and communication skills required.
  • Proactive and presentable personality.
  • Punctuality and regularity are necessary.
