Job Title: Resident Medical Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Perioperative Care Specialist in our Department of Anaesthesiology.

Responsibilities:
  1. Preoperative Assessments: Conduct thorough preoperative assessments of patients visiting the preoperative anaesthesia clinic, and make initial management plans for patients visiting the pain clinic.
  2. Theatre Preparation: Prepare theatres for scheduled surgery, make anaesthesia management plans, administer anaesthesia according to assigned privileges, and manage patients in the Post-Anaesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
  3. Clinical Excellence: Perform daily ward rounds with members of the acute and chronic pain management team, perform preoperative and postoperative rounds, and provide anaesthesia services under the supervision of consultants in various settings.
Requirements:
  • Valid registration with the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) is mandatory.
