Responsibilities

You will be responsible to:

  • Perform preoperative anaesthesia assessments on patients
  • Provide perioperative anaesthesia care during surgery
  • Offer anaesthesia care outside the operating room for procedures like Radiology, Radiotherapy and endoscopy suites
  • Conduct related procedures under consultant supervision
  • Adhere to hospital quality and patient safety policies in providing patient care
  • Participate in department quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • MBBS degree from a HEC recognized university, with an additional diploma or MCPS preferred
  • At least seven years post MBBS experience in relevant areas
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with faculty, staff, patients, and families
  • Decision-making skills with the ability to weigh factors and prevent problem recurrence
  • Crisis management skills with quick action and resource utilization
  • Comprehensive employment reference checks conducted
