The role of a product merchandiser involves sourcing, sampling, purchasing, negotiating and coordinating the delivery of garments items.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the production process to ensure that products are produced on time, within budget and to quality standards.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and teams to oversee the sampling process and ensure that samples meet design and quality standards.
  • Create purchase orders, track orders and resolve any discrepancies to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Become the single point of contact for building and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
  • Manage costs related to materials and supplies by identifying cost-saving opportunities, negotiating prices and monitoring expenses.

For this position we require strong negotiation skills, excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also necessary along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
