Sales Executive

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Sales Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of relevant sales experience in the food ingredients, food chemicals, or FMCG raw materials sector.

The Sales Executive will be responsible for developing new customer relationships, maintaining existing accounts, and achieving sales targets.

Main Responsibilities
  • Identify and approach potential FMCG clients for food-grade chemical products.
  • Build strong relationships with procurement, R&D, and supply chain departments of client companies.
  • Understand client needs and offer suitable chemical solutions from our product range.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle – lead generation, proposal submission, negotiations, and closing.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, operations) to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Keep updated records of client interactions, sales pipelines, and market feedback.
  • Regularly update management with sales reports, market intelligence, and competitor activities.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and meetings where required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of proven sales experience in food-grade chemicals, food ingredients, or related FMCG sectors.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a client portfolio.
  • Good understanding of food-grade chemical standards and requirements is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Must have own transport (preferred).
