Technical Assistant Role

This position supports various human resource functions of the organization, focusing on ensuring seamless facilitation to the People Services Team in managing employee lifecycle stages.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment and Talent Acquisition: Provide support to execute annual staffing plans, assist with recruitment processes, coordinate onboarding, and ensure documentation completion.
  • Employee Engagement & Experience:
  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing employee engagement activities outlined in the annual engagement calendar.
  • Support the team in gathering feedback and insights on engagement initiatives to refine future activities.
  • Contribute to internal communication efforts around engagement, well-being, and culture-enhancing campaigns.
  • Participate in tracking progress against employee experience KPIs as part of broader Talent Strategy objectives.
  • Learning & Development (L&D):
  • Implement capacity-building initiatives, manage the internal learning calendar, and coordinate with external training partners where necessary.

Eligibility Criteria:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • Prior informal/formal experience with HR teams of notable organizations will be given preference.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Foundational understanding of key HR functions.
  • Understanding of internal communication dynamics and the role of HR in shaping organizational culture.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Working knowledge of Canva or similar tools for developing creative internal communication and employer branding content.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good planning and coordination skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a drive to take initiative and contribute ideas.
  • Creative thinker with a people-first mindset.
  • Professional approach to confidentiality and stakeholder communication.
