Senior Software Development Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned software development manager to lead our team of engineers in designing, developing, and implementing complex systems integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Integration Design: Develop and implement system integration designs and process flows to ensure seamless interaction between various components.
  • Test Planning: Create comprehensive test plans for integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Technical Expertise: Work with Oracle Forms/Reports, SQL, PL/SQL, Open Interfaces, and APIs to design and develop scalable and efficient solutions.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of software developers to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Project Management: Utilize strong analytical skills and proficiency in project management approaches to plan, execute, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 9 years of relevant experience, preferably in a complex manufacturing environment, with at least 4 years of managing software development teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in project management approaches.
  • Deep understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) concepts, including business requirements, technical definitions, development, testing, UAT, production support, and completion.
  • Experience developing web services, packages, procedures, and applications/modules.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Forms/Reports, SQL, PL/SQL, Open Interfaces, and APIs.
