Technical Proposal Writer Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and deadline-oriented Technical Proposal Writer to develop clear, compelling, and compliant bid proposals in response to solicitations.

  • Our ideal candidate will analyze solicitation documents to extract proposal requirements and compliance criteria.
  • The successful candidate will lead the drafting and development of technical proposals, including executive summaries, methodologies, project timelines, and technical solutions.
  • They will collaborate with internal teams to gather accurate content and ensure alignment with client needs and proposal strategy.
  • Effective communication is key, so our Technical Proposal Writer will translate technical information into clear, concise, and persuasive language tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Additionally, they will manage proposal timelines and coordinate inputs to meet strict submission deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze solicitation documents to extract proposal requirements and compliance criteria.
  2. Lead the drafting and development of technical proposals, including executive summaries, methodologies, project timelines, and technical solutions.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams to gather accurate content and ensure alignment with client needs and proposal strategy.
  4. Translate technical information into clear, concise, and persuasive language tailored to diverse audiences.
  5. Manage proposal timelines and coordinate inputs to meet strict submission deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in proposal writing, bid writing, or technical documentation.
  • Strong command of English with excellent writing, editing, and formatting skills.
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex technical or service-based concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Excellent project and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple proposals under tight deadlines.
