Human Resources Professional
Job DescriptionOur organization is seeking an experienced and skilled human resources professional to oversee all aspects of our human resources practices and processes. This individual will support the business and ensure the proper implementation of our company strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with our operating philosophy and organizational plans;
- Manage employee relations, including absence, disciplinaries, grievances, sickness, maternity/paternity leave;
- Investigate and manage complex disciplinary/grievance procedures, and other company HR issues;
- Ensure organizational policies and procedures are up-to-date and in-line with current employment law and communicated effectively to all employees;
- Create a training and development program for each individual/team within the organization;
- Manage the payroll process and ensure accurate and timely payment of wages;
- Work closely with department heads to recruit new employees, including job descriptions, interviews, contracts of employment, reference requests, and probation plans;
- Develop a management program that drives high performance, measuring employee satisfaction, and identifies areas for improvement;
- Maintain and manage the Health and Safety policy and Staff Handbook;
- Develop and manage a staff appreciation and recognition program, including awards;
- Oversee succession planning and ensure smooth transition of roles;
- Promote equality and diversity as part of our company culture;
- Conduct in-house needs-based training sessions and arrange orientation sessions for new joiners;
- Prepare job descriptions for positions and ensure all employees are clear on their job duties;
- Maintain employee personal records with confidentiality and security;
- Develop forms relating to human resource management (leave, appraisal, clearance, exit interview etc.);
- Develop and maintain competitive compensation programs for all employees;
- Put in place a performance evaluation and rating system for supporting the performance review process;
- Conduct employee annual performance appraisals and submit reports on human resources-related issues to management when required;
- Coordinate and ensure completion of employee exit interviews and report outcomes to management and maintain data;
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field;
- Proven experience in HR role, preferably in a similar industry;
- Strong knowledge of employment law and regulations;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Able to work independently and as part of a team;
- Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively;
- Proficient in MS Office and other HR software systems;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information;
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines;
