Human Resources Generalist

This is a generalist role in human resources where you will support the daily operations of the HR department. Your focus will be on recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and HR process improvement.

  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Recruitment and Onboarding: Coordinate and manage the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates. Assist with onboarding and orientation for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the company.
    • Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and benefits. Assist in addressing employee concerns and resolving workplace conflicts in a confidential and professional manner.
    • Compliance and Record Keeping: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations. Maintain up-to-date employee records in HRIS systems and personnel files.
    • Benefits Administration: Support the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave programs. Respond to employee inquiries related to benefits and assist with open enrollment processes.
    • Performance Management and Training: Assist in coordinating performance review processes and documentation. Support the development and implementation of training programs and professional development initiatives.

Key Requirements:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
  • Experience:
    • 2–4 years of experience in a human resources role, preferably in a generalist or specialist capacity.
    • Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, BambooHR) and applicant tracking systems.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Working Conditions:

  • 10 am to 7 pm office hours with occasional extended hours to meet deadlines.
