Business Development Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team in Pakistan. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing the Health, Nutrition and Care business of assigned customer portfolios.

The incumbent will ensure customer satisfaction and contribute to the growth and retention of our customer accounts. This role will support our business in Pakistan in partnership with another Account Manager.

The position reports to the Account Manager, Pakistan, HNC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships by delivering exceptional service and solutions that meet their needs.
  • Identify new business opportunities and collaborate with internal teams to commercialise these opportunities.
  • Back up and support the other Account Manager in the team by sharing knowledge and expertise.
  • Develop and maintain key account plans for assigned customers on an annual basis.
  • Use the CRM system to capture customer projects, visit reports and correspondence.
  • Support the project management of new projects and opportunities for key strategic customer accounts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, Food Technology or related area.
  • Proven track record of sales success in food/nutraceutical industry with 3-5 years of experience and willingness to learn.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to navigate successfully within a matrix organisation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Teams, SAP experience preferred but not essential.
