Director of Data Delivery

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead and manage the delivery of data-centric projects with a focus on Azure Databricks and Power BI solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a background in technical project management, and experience working with cloud-based data platforms. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high-quality standards, driving business value and client satisfaction.

  • Lead the End-to-End Delivery: Manage the full lifecycle of data-related projects, from initial scoping and planning through to deployment and post-launch support.
  • Azure Databricks & Power BI Projects: Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of solutions using Azure Databricks for data processing and transformation, and Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to technical teams, ensuring best practices in Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based data architecture.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with Azure Databricks, Power BI, and cloud-based architectures.
  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps, including pipeline creation, automation, and CI/CD best practices.
  • Solid understanding of data engineering, big data processing, and machine learning workflows on Azure.
  • 7+ years of experience in project delivery or technical management roles, ideally focused on data-centric or cloud solutions.
  • Proven track record in leading technical teams across multiple projects simultaneously.
