Inventory Manager Job Summary

The Inventory Manager is a key role within our organization, responsible for overseeing the flow of inventory across multiple warehouses. This includes managing incoming and outgoing stock, as well as conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy in warehouse management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee inventory flow across multiple warehouses, including incoming, returns, disposals, transfers and more.
  • Perform routine inventory audits to ensure records in warehouse management systems are accurate.
  • Timely escalate inventory discrepancies in warehouse management systems while collaborating with security staff at each location.
  • Generate daily/weekly reports to ensure critical inventory areas are controlled and discrepancies resolved.
  • Regularly review KPIs and perform quality control analysis on behaviors/processes impacting inventory integrity.
  • Establish inventory management processes and conduct inventory control procedures (e.g. cycle counts).
  • Gain expertise in key warehouse process paths and ensure adherence across all shifts and departments.
  • Measure quality and inventory accuracy, providing quality assurance feedback to warehouse managers.
  • Analyze customer complaints and defect data, developing action plans to reduce future incidents.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in inventory/warehouse management.
  • In-depth knowledge of operations and first principles (e.g. supply chain, customer service).
  • Working knowledge of quality operational metrics.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
