Freight Sales Executive

This is an exciting opportunity for a Freight Sales Executive to develop and execute business development strategies to improve DHL's attainment of business.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Respond promptly to customer complaints and enquiries.
  • Manage and retain a defined customer portfolio.
  • Develop and execute sales plans to drive business growth.
  • Negotiate with customers on service provision terms aligned to corporate policy and procedures.
  • Deliver high-quality presentations of standardized products and services to potential customers.
  • Plan, prepare and execute sales calls to drive customer retention and new business acquisition.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in field sales at freight forwarding.
  • Understanding of trade lane specifics in the forwarding industry and expertise in Ocean freight and logistics business models.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (preferred).
  • Presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Proven sales record.
  • Strong communication, management and interpersonal skills.
  • Microsoft Office and related software skills.
