A Day in the Life of a Business Development Manager
  • You will spend time researching new business leads and developing targeted prospect plans.
  • You will work closely with the Business Development team to support their day-to-day activities and contribute to special projects as needed.
  • As a key member of the team, you will be expected to attend new business meetings and actively participate in discussions.
  • You will gather essential credentials, case studies, and other relevant information to support your research efforts.
  • You will compile and distribute status reports, pipeline documents, and newsletters to keep stakeholders informed.
  • You will stay up-to-date with current events in business, marketing, and advertising to remain competitive.
  • You will demonstrate excellent customer service skills and maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with clients, vendors, and staff.
Main Responsibilities and Key Deliverables
  • Support the Business Development team in their day-to-day activities.
  • Attend new business meetings and actively participate in discussions.
  • Contribute to special projects as needed.
  • Develop prospect targets and prospect plans based on market and service considerations.
  • Research new business clients, pitches, and prospects to identify potential opportunities.
  • Gather essential credentials, case studies, and other relevant information.
  • Compile and distribute status reports, pipeline documents, and newsletters to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Stay abreast of current events in business, marketing, and advertising to remain competitive.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with clients, vendors, and staff.
