
Senior Category Growth Strategist

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Category Growth Strategist to drive customer growth by developing and executing plans to deliver strategies and tactics for expansion. This role is responsible for understanding business metrics and financial drivers needed to unlock profitable growth for our customers, collaborating with key account managers to implement plans and achieve annual targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of trade marketing strategies for category annual plans.
- Analyze market dynamics and consumer insights by channel to inform trade marketing decisions.
- Develop sales quotas through business planning meetings to accomplish annual plans using relevant building blocks.
- Suggest investments in category building blocks, aligning with category and channel needs, and ensure execution excellence at point of sale.
- Monitor competition's commercial activity in the category to identify business opportunities and potential threats for our brand.
- Provide leadership within multi-categories teams by leading, providing accurate channel information, and finding business opportunities such as innovations, customer promotions, portfolio, pricing, etc., to achieve multi-categories targets.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Category planning and delivering growth through category leadership experience.
- A future-focused mindset, curiosity about industry trends, digital solutions, and innovation for consumers, and translating opportunities into business plans.
- Developing and delivering plans, measuring results, and making recommendations to achieve growth targets.
- Business planning and maximizing revenue growth expertise.
- Influencing stakeholders and interacting effectively with others, holding an alternative point of view with courage and resilience.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
About You
You will have a Master's in Business Administration and 10+ years of experience in Sales & Category Planning within FMCG industry. No relocation support available.
