Job Description

As a Trade Marketing Specialist at EBM, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and ensuring effective communication with retail stores and key accounts. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain regular communication with internal and external stakeholders, including direct reports, to assign sales targets and monitor progress towards these targets.

Some of your key duties will include:
  1. Planning daily agendas to engage in effective communication with retail stores and key accounts.
  2. Following up with stores to seek feedback on target sales and ensure sales are aligned with objectives.
  3. Assigning sales targets to direct reports and monitoring their progress towards achieving these targets.
  4. Liaising with the Sales department to plan and ensure timely delivery of stocks to relevant outlets.
Additionally, you will be responsible for engaging in workforce planning to optimize the utilization of available workforce. This includes coordinating with order bookers to assure on-time availability of stock for merchandisers to work upon. You will also ensure proper coordination with stores to reach agreements for renting space in the store and assigning monthly targets.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess a bachelor's or master's degree in Business or an equivalent degree, along with at least 2-3 years of experience in trade marketing. You should have thorough knowledge and understanding of trade marketing channels, sales, and distribution networks. Key skills required include strong communication and negotiation skills, ability to work effectively under pressure, and strategic thinking. Furthermore, you must be able to analyze complex data, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to drive business results.
