Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing sales enquiries, coordinating with the team to prepare quotes, and implementing a marketing strategy. The role involves monitoring sales performance, chasing outstanding quotes, and analysing reasons for failure to turn enquiries into new orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the receipt, handling, and escalation of all sales enquiries
  • Co-ordinate all sales enquiries in line with company policies
  • Monitor the status of all live enquiries to ensure timely completion of actions
  • Ensure all quotes and associated files are linked to an enquiry
  • Follow up sales activities with clients and potential clients
  • Chase and analyse reasons for failure to turn an enquiry into a new order
  • Monitor company sales KPIs and sales performance
  • Credit check all potential new clients prior to quote completion
  • Liaise with the sales team to capture information for quotes and manage dispatch to agreed timescales
Marketing and PR Strategy
  • Create a marketing and PR strategy for approval by directors
  • Create a marketing and PR plan based on a rolling 12-month period for director approval

Requirements
  • Administer the preparation of quotes
  • Create and implement a Marketing and PR strategy
  • Identify and co-ordinate market information on behalf of the organisation
  • Produce marketing collateral as required
  • Manage the day-to-day work of the Sales and Marketing Assistant
